please help - adaptive AND cornering light suddenly stopped

hi all

any ideas what could cause both my adaptive and cornering lights to stop working? Not bumped into anything, not wet weather. They've completely stopped on both sides.

Is there a fuse that controls both, or a setting?

I've had the 'adaptive headlight failure' warning occasionally come on but the system still worked. I very recently had the warning coded out.

Does the coding out of the warning literally just do that, or does it actually disable the adaptive and cornering system (so it doesn't generate a warning)?

Please help...

thanks

On my 335d if I turn on the headlights using the manual setting (clockwise) it disables adaptive.

hi,
forgot to add that these problems are happening with the light switch in the "auto" setting (anti-clockwise)

cheers

Heard back from the guy that did my coding changes. Apparently he had to disable the entire adaptive and cornering system to 'hide' the error code. You can't just disable the warning message.

I'll try to get him to reverse those changes.

I'll also look for the rod on the suspension (presumably rear suspension?) in case that was causing the original fault

thank you
