Have a look at this ebay ad

It doesn't look a bad effort to be fair but it's not a 3.5 and it's still on the log book as a 320d

would have been cheaper to buy a gen 335d, not registered as a 335, I bet the insurance company would love that! be ok for £4000 to track it.

Is there ever a car for sale on ebay that doesn't have faults that you are advised take 2mins to fix and cost pocket change?

That's my point.

They can manage to carry out full engine conversions bit can't get simple things working.

They know better. Not a simple fix.

At least it isn't covered in go faster stripes. It doesn't look like a bad conversion but I just don't see the point unless this was for some kind of educational project?

I wonder how much this actually cost in the end? LCI nav in there, that doesn't come cheap. I actually quite like the brightness of the speedo too.

Really impressive amount of work that has been done.

Like others have said, surely its cheaper to just buy a 335d?

Love how he states that its registered as 320d and therefore cheap tax / insurance.
I am sure if he was involved in an accident they would void his insurance as soon as the car was inspected...

Had a lol at the simple fixes too.... you swapped an engine and done an LCI conversion yet cant be bothered to do a "simple" fix before sale?

I think that must be the default minimum. I know a guy that mangled the temperature sensor on a Z4 by hitting a high curb and that was the same figure his car was showing.

The car looks ok compared to some that I've seen but it's never going to be an easy sale.
