As long as it's 03/07 or newer we shouldn't have an issue. But, you'll be the first so you always take a risk. We can always flash it back. More than likely you won't have any issues and you can tell everyone you're the first 328xi to have Alpina on your car. Now that would be the shit.

Get with hookandpull for details.

I am down for a place by some restaurants and some place where we can test the faster shifts as well.
Get with hookandpull and he can fill you in on the details. We just flashed the Single Turbo AT car and it now shifts from 4th to 5th without issues and he's making over 600 whp.

Guys with late model 08, 09, and 10 cars, we have a paddle fix now. So game on guys, this is the shit and it's NO joke. You will not get a better mod for your car.

Bump ~ I have the fix for the late model cars, so if you are looking to make your car drive like the car it should have been in the first place, get with HookandPull so you can take advantage of this breakthrough.

I will be in Seattle next Saturday the 2nd, so if you don't take advantage of this you'll have to find another coder or you will need to drive to Portland. This is a group event and a chance to get your car modified to shift like an Alpina B3 GTS. Upshifts are much faster. Paddles have no delay. Downshifts are not restricted and have better RPM matching. Traction control is less invasive. This also fixes the flatline timing issues in 5th and it has fixed the shift issues the upgraded turbo cars were having from 4th to 5th. Do I need to say more?

Guys, I can't PM, so if you have questions, talk to hookandpull, text me, or call. Hoodandpull is the organizer as I don't know much about Seattle. I'm not from the PNWC area originally. If you can't make it, you can always shoot down to Portland.

I know you made it clear that the prod need to be after 3/07, but what about e92 n54 whose production dates are earlier like mines which is 11/06. Is the transmission different for earlier production models? I would love to have a have this TCU flash.

Pre 03/07 cars had a different MCM/TCU processor and will not take the flash.

Okay guys sorry about the late reply but I replied to all PMs.... I have been ass deep in my car for the past day and a half. I am thinking about meeting at either the Fred Myer parking lot in Lynnwood off of Mukilteo speedway or the 4 wheel parts parking lot. Either way I am looking to meet around Mukilteo speedway/405 because there is a stretch of divided highway that is difficult to get busted. I used to tune my Cobra on this highway and the locals like to run it on Fri/Sat nights some of the bimmer guys know it well. If I dont respond to the PM fast enough you can text me @ 425-319-2562

Definitelly do a little test and tune on the highway once the flash is done.

I will be there, just let us know where.

I'm interested in this but have extended warranty/maintenance packages on my car. Would anybody have any guesses if that would cause issues with that? Considering I bought my car with those additions I'd rather just wait until those end before I do something like this.

Well, got bad news. The E89 flash doesn't work on the E60. So unless we can find a B5 somewhere and get the assembly number for the transmission flash, we're kinda out of luck at this time for the 535's.

Completely understand Bob. If you want to drop over, give me a call and we can go for a ride in my car and you can see if this is something you would like to do. The flash history is saved, but I can tell you the dealerships don't look at the software. It's also a BMW flash, so who's to say that the dealership just didn't mess up and pick the wrong assembly number when the car was flashed at the dealership. We can set the dealer code. Just let me know what you want to do.

It looks like I can't make the meet either, work just put me on call this weekend and I can't get away. I apologize but I hope its early enough of a notice that wouldn't affect anyone's plans.

Guys, I'm not pulling out just because a few people can't make it to the event. We can still get together. This is not just for the guys who want to flash. Hopefully a lot more people will turn up just to hang out and say hi. Always nice to see other cars and meet new people.
