Another angel eye questions (06 e90)

Hi guys

I recently bought some angel eye replacements from bmw led and took them to a local shop to get them installed. I don't have any tools or I'd try it myself.

Anyhow, the owner took one look at the bulbs and said he won't install after market angel eyes due to the potential problem it could cause with other electronics etc...

Has anyone experienced issues with swapping the angel eyes? If so, what were they?

thanks

I have never heard of angel eyes causing any problems. Worst case scenario they won't work.

The only thing it could do is throw a bulb error code.

I changed mine 3 yrs ago and have no issues at all. I paid $60.00 on ebay for the set. I changed them myself with only a few tools and more important a DIY from here. Cheers!

thanks guys. thats kind of what i thought. it appears that pretty much 99% of the cars here have upgraded angel eyes.

next question. Anyone know a descent shop in Orange County that can do the work at a fair price?
