if u have an ER FMIC wanting ER charge pipe..

Just a heads up so u dont make the same mistake i did..

This only goes for people with ER FMIC wanting to buy an ER charge pipe..

Make sure you contact your vendor and advise them that you have an ER FMIC before ordering your ER charge pipe so you get the appropriate version that fits the year for your car.

It gets tricky and its a little confusing with the way its worded vendor websites.

Long story short:

Car is a 2007 335. I have an ER fmic installed. I ordered the ER charge pipe for the 2006-2010 335 long version which replaces the entire pipe and factory elbow for an extra $50. Which that sounds good and all..... however, IF you already have an ER FMIC installed on your car and your car is an 07,08-- the LONG version of the ER charge pipe WILL NOT FIT even tho it states 2006-2010. YOU will have to order the short version which utilizes the stock rubber elbow and it also save u the $50..

I didnt realize this and i ordered the long version bc i thought it would be awesome to replace everything ...I ended up having to mail the product back to ER this morning and now im waiting for them to ship me the short version.

I was so pissed yesterday. I was totally looking forward to my C/P and tial bov

Oh well.. If this confused you... just make sure you double check with your vendor before doing anything if you already have an ER fmic and u want their Charge pipe.

Have a good weekend ya'll

bro :

Fred and christine at ER are top notch great people to work with. Their customer service is the main reason ive continued to purchase their products... Even when it doesnt benefit them, Fred has always been honest and upfront with me whenever ive had any questions...

I cant tell u how disappointed i was yesterday. I was sick ( still am) with a fever, cold etc etc but i wanted to get this installed so bad so i drove down to ft Lauderdale which is like 50 minutes from me come to find out this b.s.
Youre lucky you could drive to them.I have to wait for them to get it, then ship another one back. Sucks bro.

I guess there are worse things in life so i shouldnt complain too much LOL..

General Rule:

If you ordered a 2007-2008 ER FMIC you will need a Short Version charge pipe.

If you ordered a 2009+ ER Fmic you will need a Long Version Charge Pipe.

In essence the 2007-2008 ER FMIC kit will come with a longer lower intercooler pipe. By no accident, the 2009+ ER FMIC comes with a shorter lower intercooler pipe.

I personally think they should just make 1 Charge Pipe and 1 Intercooler kit to fit all the models like every other company. This would lower costs, improve inventory, availability, and lessen the likelihood of mistakes.

Same thing happened to me. However, I'm still running the long one because it still works. I might end up selling it and getting the short one though. I might go with a HKS SSQV this time though.
