the mold was made in house with mdf , just make the shape you need lay the carbon cloth inside, add resin and vacuum bag we done the same for the foot rest which was a lot more work

I'm jealous of the composite skills. I worked with it in college and came away with an appreciation for just how difficult it is to produce quality pieces. Yours look great.

Thanks it did take a few goes to get write.but i realized that the finish is not important when i pulled the foot rest from the mdf mold it removed some of the mdf with it didn't look good but many hours of sanding and it looked great.
i do recommend using the vacuum bagging method or even better vacuum infusion
it really helps with awkward mold shapes and removes any excess resin as well as adding strength

lots of good videos on youtube with tips from pros

nearly all the cars in VLN take part in the Nurburgring 24hr . VLN is used for testing
