WTB new wheels but need help choosing wheel sizes!!
So I have 2010 e90 328xi in Space Gray. My car currently has those ugly 16 inch rims and this year I'm finally looking into upgrading them. I've been looking into getting TSW Nurburgring in the Matte Gunmetal finish. I've been doing lots of research on the forums and since its my first time buying wheels I want to make sure I'm doing this right. I want to definitely run a staggered setup. For the tires & rims:
Front: 225/40 r18 rim size: 18x8 5x120 et35 Rear: 255/35 r18 rim size: 18x9.5 5x120 et40 My questions regarding this setup is if the offsets are good for the rear? Like will it be flush to the fender, stick out or be a little in? Another question is if cosmetically will these rim widths look good on the car? Also just want to make sure that tire sizes are correct and won't cause any problems. Please any input that is given would be greatly appreciated! |

the size are fine the only think is the I not sure if u can run staggered setup if your car is all wheel drive.. that's something you have to look into..
try the same post in the wheels and tires forums.. u may get better answers.. http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=12 |

The sizes don't look bad. Tough with staggered set ups and all wheel drive. Good luck and be sure to post pics after you pull the trigger.

i ran similar sizes on an awd (staggered) and it was fine. plus they were 19s
only thing i'd say is go 235/35/18 and 265/30/19 instead... a little bit lower profile so the tires don't look so chunky and less stretch which, in my mind, makes it look more aggressive and less ricey.. but that comes down to personal preference
