For those who are familiar with the 123d engine, it is a twin sequential turbo model. With 204 bhp, it produces an output of over 100 bhp per litre, and uses same turbo technology as the E60 535d.

The engine was initially created by Alpina for use in the D3, BMW were so impressed they licensed the design for the 123d.

Garage List
Jon, lovely looking car, and a few months ago I may have been tempted but things moved on slightly at my end. I do still keep considering the 123d as a future option for me so interested to hear your real-life experience with the car. Any pros/cons you are happy to share??? PM me if you don't want to distract from this thread.
