what car would you trade in your 335i for?

hey guys i have an 07 e92 aw/cr 6mt im thinking about trading it in because the car is NOT reliable at all when i need it the most to go to school and run my business its been in the shop already like 5 times the turbos went out , my 6th cylinder is misfiring, my 6th incjector went out , my waste gate, my window motor went out it only has 54 k miles and im looking to see what should i trade it in for meaning something that i can enjoy and have reliabilty all the time, and something good to get some good numbers out of it like the 335i with a jb4 tune blows out tunning you can get 400 whp but like for an evo x you need to invest like $5-10k to get close to those kind of numbers.

perhaps a Hyundai

Edit: perhaps a Hyundai 5.0 seems to be the engine size of note...

I would get a 328 and use the extra money to make it what you want to, or a brand new boss 402, or possibly a used cayman or 911. There is also the BRZ which would be a pretty sweet car.

my car has been running perfectly fine, but i wanted to trade it in also.

my choices are EVO (8 or9) no stis, 993/6 p-car, mustang 5.0, older m5/m3

Older 911(996) are around 20-30k. not to crazy. unless you want a 997 thats 40+. Non turbo models of course.

I'm on the same boat, currently looking for a 328 coupe CPO/ Mustang 5.0/ Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Looking to stay away from FI engines and trying to get into something reliable and where parts are pretty cheap.

if your priorities of business/school/budget ranks higher than your car, ditch the 335 and get a less "premium" brand like honda/toyota. if you NEED a premium brand (for whatever reason), get a lexus.

I haven't driven one yet, but at least on paper, it's hard to beat an 08 Corvette for the money.

I didn't know you were college, you could definitely do a used mustang and those have a huge array of possibilities when it comes to modifications.

my priorities are school and work right now and i mean im not looking to go back into 160hp car like my previous 08 lancer looking to be around the 30-35 k mark then once my bussiness grows i can afford a gtr i mean i grossed out at $160,000 this year then clean money i have like $80,000 after expense , registration, fuel, and my company expenses but i rather just spend 35 k then put the rest into funds for schooling / house

I don't get it, you are a college student, yet your growing business grossed you 160K last year - what are you expecting out of a degree?

If I were in your shoes, I'd focus all my energy on the growth of the business and put school second in this case. If you are netting $80K like you say, with large growth opportunity, trade in your 07, it's a no brainer.

This is like a bash BMW thread....do you guys really want to trade your cars for mustang GTs and Camaros? Maybe they have more raw hp but they are not refined like the 335...

IDK I love my 335 and I guess the only thing I would want to trade it for is possibly an A6 or an M3
