+1 for the cut away socket. I did Bilstein sports which require a 22mm and stock was 21mm. Learning lessons....

Does the same method work for removing OEM non-sport front struts, given that the springs are 0.6" taller?

18mm is what we used in the video. But when in doubt measure your nuts first to insure you have the correct strut nut socket on hand for the job.

Thanks! Do you know if i can re-use the factory front strut nut(the one that hold the top hat on) on ST coils?

ST coilovers come with their own top nut, you'll want to use that one.

I bought used and they were not included. Was hoping to re use the factory ones.
