Facelift E90/91 is due in september 2008 as an 2009 model. First pictures (thanks mortem):

Differences:

- front bumper (different, less edgy/angular shape)
- front air intake incl. fog lights (different shape)
- grille (more rounded)
- headlight graphics (CELIS LED corona rings with DRL function)
- hood (more sculptured)
- side skirt (sharper)
- rear bumper (different "diffusor" lip)
- part of tail lights located on boot lid (different shape / graphics) (still in camoflage)

Warning: hood, front bumper (incl. air intakes), and part of tail lights located on boot lid are still camoed!

The car is a little different but everyone is saying how ugly it is. Its not that much different to change someones opinion that much. Its pointless to coment on a car that has ANY camo on it. I will reserve judgement until I see the real deal.

How much you wanna bet if you posted a current pic of a 2007 Black 335i sedan that hadn't been washed in 2 months and then take the pictures in dull weather and called THAT the facelifted model everyone would be saying how ugly it is, or how it looks like a this or that..

Fact is there's too much camo still on it to tell. My bet is that once the camo comes off, the car will look more agressive and have more detail to it than the current model. The 3-series is BMW's bread and butter model. They won't and can't afford to screw it up.......

Looks like a Jetta from the rear .... Im not really feeling it ... like the current look better. The hood kind of looks cool thou.

Yeah, even the slightest bit of camo (the rear lights, or especially the front grill) can completely throw off the look and flow of the car. If your eyes try to follow a line in the car and part of the line is hidden by tape, then you will naturally have a negative reaction to the entire feel of the car.

Once it's actually revealed I think it will look much better than the current version.

i know it's early, but it seems to be a fairly minor face lift.

wondering what they're doing with the tails.

Doesn't really look like that from these pics, atleast regarding the front.
