335d vers Harley Davidson

Heading out of London yesterday on the A40.
Stopped at the lights and next to me was a 335d (clearly tweaked) and a Harley Davidson. No idea what engine the bike had apart from loud!!! And clearly quick.

Anyway, the lights turn green and the 335 dropped the bike like a stone. The biker was trying as well!

Could not follow quickly as I want to run my new car in nicely but these two were hammering it up to the speed camera.

Very comical and fair play to the guy in the 335.

The Hardley Ferguson is a tractor.
The 335d is a diesel (tractor).

Harley Davidsons aren't fast.

Some of those big heavy things only have about 60bhp.

Just looking at Harley Davidson's website they don't even give you the power. Just torque.

Harleys are slow as shit.

you buy it for the image and the sound.

The image of a c*ck, if you ask me.

Everyone in my family rides - no one would be seen on a Harley.

Harley Davidson

Americas top selling motorcycle....

Fires every other lamp post, weighs slightly more than the moon and has the ground clearance of your lawnmower, so not exactly a paragon of performance

On full throttle its like riding a pneumatic drill

To quota one Harley exec; “What we sell is the ability for a 43-year-old accountant to dress in black leather, ride through small towns and have people be afraid of him.”

Certainly difficult to find any other quality

Known affectionately as a "hog", the name is entirely appropriate....big, heavy, slow and snorting.
