Greg330 - E92 335 Build Thread

Owned my car for nearly a year now and made some good progress, originally spent more than I wanted to but got the right car and was happy that the mods I had planned would have to wait....

This is as i picked it up:

First mod was an M3 style boot spoiler, bargain from eBay:

I found the standard gear knob too tall so went for the Performance knob and gaiter:

Car was serviced at time of purchase but with the conditional based servicing it threw up another service end of last year so took it down to my local independent. The benefit of doing this was I could also fit a BMS Dual Cone system rather than replacing the standard air filter! No picture but you all know what they look like!

Then came the drop on H&R Race Springs and decided to fit some Cades Apolloís I acquired in anticipation of getting an E92:

Stance is great with the H&Rís but with current state of our roads it can be a little tiresome, fortunately its not driven every day so i can live with it!!

Now for the latest addition, aero front spoiler from Teddy at SSDD. Very pleased with it and the car is looking how i wanted it to.....

Finally the new favourite picture!

Next up is some shadowline window trim, calliper refresh, CYBA exhaust tips and RPI scoops.

Unfortunately (fortunately?!) wedding bells will put a halt to anymore mods for the next six months. Although people have asked we will have a wedding list, Iím not sure if M3 style side skirts and remap will go down too well though!!

Wow your car looks stunning Greg. Love those wheels as well. I had my window trims wrapped by a local company, much cheaper than buying the trims

An M-SPORT steering wheel is a very worth while mod. I changed mine about two months ago and love the feel it gives you

I've ordered the roll from http://shadowlinetrim.com/, so with a help of my friend who is handy with vinyl it might be a cheap solution!

M-Sport or M3 wheel is on the list, keep seeing them in the classifieds and have to resist temptation!!

I'm viewing the pics on my phone dude and it already looks black? But obviously not of you want to change them lol!

But yes I definitely would do the lower mesh too! Surely just a respray right?

But will make the whole front end a log more aggressive coupled with the black grills

I really enjoy reading build threads as you can see a transofrmation a car undergoes and gives me ideas of what i want to do/how it will look etc

The trim vinyl Greg from shadowtrimline site, did you order that from the UK? What was the postage/customs charge? as all i can see is the price is in $$

Like the drop and the other mods, but honestly I preferred the stock alloys.

Got the springs BNIB from the classifieds here they are the 60/40 ones and they really do drop it as far as they say they do. To be honest they do need updated shocks to get the most out of the set up...

Love the ride ! The drop is perfect, the wheels are super concavy and spoiler/splitter give the great touches to the body

For a roll 3 x 30" matte finish and a squeegee which is enough to do both sides it came in at £24.16 delivered and including fees. Not a great fx rate from paypal aswell....

Hopefully I haven't missed something and it will turn up!
