6AT not working correctly;(

So my 08 335i 6AT is having some issues. When I change drive modes to DS it still says D on the Dash and when I put it in M it will shift till second an then goes back to D so I'm not able to shift when that happens. I'm thinking that there is an issue with the trans or a sensor or something. Can anyone help with some info if possible?

Definetly the wiring or shifter. I highly doubt it's the trans.
