Pagid vs ATE brake fluid?
I will not going for track days.
Normal driving
Sometimes bit spirited.

ATE is good stuff..

I've got it in mine with SS hoses and performance pads, feel great.

I have a couple of new unopened bottles lying around too - pm me if you want them.

I was thinking to get from eurocarparts 5L pagid for £16 or from eBay eurocarparts outlet ATE 5L for £21

Make sure you put some braided hoses on as well - makes a difference to mine.

I don't think I will need upgrade brake line. I'm not pushing that hard.

That's an amzing price.

I paid £15 for 500ml bottles of Millers racing DOT4 fluid, so that is some difference.

Even 'regular' DOT4 is usually about £6-10/Litre.

E9x holds about 1 litre in all, 2 litres will be plenty for a change with a full flush through.

Why worry? you are already looking at the cheapest budget fluid you can buy, so just buy the cheapest one if that's the objective.

At that price point (£3/litre!!) it will make no odds ATE / Pagid / Tesco Value etc.

As long as its DOT4, you'll be fine.

Any thoughts on Motul 600? Also, I've heard 1L is plenty enough even with a flush.

Is that correct?

As Doughboy said as long is DOT 4 it will be fine.
As in my car all brake system is ATE I will go for ATE

I think is recommended every two years. Or if you do track days then more often. My car is telling me to change brake fluid. And when I checked my fluid it looks dark.

Ok, cheers. This is the first car I've owned in years (not including a Landrover that blew up in the middle of Namibia!) and the only decent car I've ever had so learning everything from scratch really.

I'd personally change the brake fluid every year if it's your DD and at 6 months if you track the car regularly.

The word "Racing" inflated the price 450%!!
