Koni yellow users: what setting are you using?

I'm getting Koni yellow + Eibach setup installed next week. I had Koni yellows on my '04 WRX and really liked it - but I recall when installed I went with only 2 or 3 turns from softest (more than that the car was a brick to drive). What settings are you using?

1.5 turns out of 2.5 from full soft in the front and 3/4 turn out of 2 from full soft in the rear with BMW perf springs and bumpstops.

add 1 turn=360 degrees; not sure what you mean by 2,3,4 turns

1 turn = 360 degrees.

It's been a few years since I last adjusted the WRX which I sold, so perhaps the number of turns in my memory was off. What you're saying is the rotation only allows for 2.5 turns (900 degrees) up front and 2 turns (720 degrees) in the rear?

Ooooo....that caught my eye! How does the handling compare to a ZSP (standard sport) suspension? The overall ride? Thanks.

it is stiff, but not annoying. definitely it has much less body roll. it's a personal preference to describe the overall ride. to me it is not stiff and ride is firm and solid. sometimes i think it rides softer than ZSP at certain condition too. as far as i could remember, ZSP was a nice firm ride, but sometimes when you hit a pot hole, that "clunk" totally transfer to the driver/passenger. it was quite annoying.

my current setup, it still does transfer that feel to the end user, but at least the setup filters some annoying part, so it translates to a "softer/more comfy" ride to me sometimes. when you hit a dip, the transition is quick and solid, not floaty or bouncing around.

but of cuz, overall it is a much stiffer ride compare to ZSP, i believe ZSP spring rates are 145/460 and now im at 400/616. i had my wife sat in there and she didn't complain much, just saying it is definitely stiffer compare to stock (ZSP), and i take my 14 months to daycare everyday and she seems enjoying it. adjusting the dampening affects a lot of the ride quality, so it will be a lot trial and error specially the rear Koni yellow are internal adjustable. so it's a bit tougher to get the rear dial in the correct setting with the coil setting.
