wtf

Anyone got any idea what this is for. It's on rear wheels only on a porsche and looks awful so presumably there is a purpose or you wouldn't fit them.

Some type of Anti theft device, so you can't access the wheel nuts

Alternatively he's lost the spike off his ben hur chariot

Now we know what they are, I can't believe any would be stupid enough to purchase them:

a) They make you car look utter gash.
b) You have to carry them around in the boot and as they're made of plastic, I can't help thinking chains or socks would take up less space.
c) They might be easier to fit than chains, but I can't help thinking socks are the better options.

Or am I missing the point?
