450HP at rear wheels on 335i, how do I get there?

I've got a 2007 335i that I'm pretty much in love with after owning for 6 weeks. So far, I've done a JB4 and the dual-cone intake upgrade, next on the list is an upgraded intercooler and then cat-back exhaust. My question is what do I need to do after that, and in what order, to achieve 450RWHP from this car and still be street legal? At some point, I may drop the coin to go with a single turbo but right now, I'd like to get to 450 within an addition $6,000 or so. Is it possible?

OK, let me clarify, I like the N54 and want to keep it but still achieve 450RWHP.

Full bolt on n54 with tune will dyno around 370 whp on Mustang Dyno with pump gas. You will probably be around 340-50 whp after adding everything you mentioned up there.

You will probably reach 420 whp if you add downpipe and dyno on Dynojet with race gas.

Not a chance. I think dinan themselves only rate their stage 3 at 400 at the crank.

You're not, and you do, and you're a huge dick for using them.

But it WILL get you power, you CAN cheat the tests, and plenty of other people successfully do it all the time

No. You'll fail emissions inspections, but again unless they dig to try and catch you or you bolt on for the test nobody will know.

I don't want to be that guy, I know. But cats exist for a reason, and it's not simply to ruin everyone's fun.

Glad we don't have emissions testing in Alabama!! Catless DPs are next on the list! Just wish the N55 was as responsive to the mods as N54

If you're willing to drop $6k then I would just go with the single turbo now.

Why would you recommend single turbo to a guy when the vargas stage 3's are already outperforming them across the board at a lower cost for a better product...in fact I will bet a single ST doesn't sell for a while now since the potential from vargas seems to be so much greater.

There are many ways to achieve 450rwhp. Do your research, that way you'll know exactly how you want to achieve that power.
