G5 IOS notes

Im installing G5 and ISO firmware this weekend. Is there any particular settings I should change when uploading software, or just use default?
Im running 30-40% e85, FMIC, DP's.

Thanks, one another note with my current g4 board map 5 never works properly or I'm not doing it right. It has never reached more than 12 boost. I shift into 3rd hit around 60 and floor it past 4th gear. I repeat this process multiple times. Am I missing something here? Does it take 7 to 10 times to learn? Should I start at 40mph and floor it?

Seems to happen often, here is the fix: switch maps, (map 1 for example) then go back to map 5, and you'll see map 5 working past 12psi.

Curious, after every mod is this common practice to switch back to 1 and back to 5? I usually run map 5 with dci but have downpipes and an intercooler waiting to go in. When I go fbo should I go from map 5-1-5 and let it relearn?

Start around 2500 & go through to the fourth gear shift. Should take about 3 tries. As mentioned above use another map to clear whatever is in 5 before you make your runs.

I am looking at 17+psi now on 60/40 93/E85 without down pipes

I think it mat be a bug in my current software, its old. When i install the g5 this weekend i hope to be at 17 as well as I'll have fmic, dp's and 40% ethanol.

If you are having any kind of a problem he can read the logs & recommend settings to change. Each car tends to be a little bit different & a small change can get the most out of it. I just changed an open loop fueling setting & went from 16psi to 17psi max on map 5. With the lap top hooked up took about 20 seconds to change.

Anyone on iso should be on interface 020113 & 17B hex. 17B is the most current & the hex files will be upgraded again when the alpha test group is done; so you need to check the site for new files on a regular basis.
