Hi, I am interested in front pads for E92 325d.

Part No. DP41493R - Price including discount 73.24??

Part number appears to be different from 335? Does the same discount apply to brake wear sensors? Does the above price include UK delivery?

Thanks

Yep that part number should come out to 73.24 after the discount and VAT.

Yes i think the 325D has different brake pads. The plan is for me to buy them and then delivery is additional, or you can come and collect from me in Northampton.

Brake pad wear sensors are unavailable. I might just get the from BMW.

If you're interested then i require payment by the end of the day at the absolute latest Let me know and i'll send you details of how to pay.

How much am I looking at for delivery?

Send me details of how to pay, I'm in as long as the above isn't too dear.

I'm not sure about delivery, but for a single set of pads i don't think it would be too much, around 5-10 as a guess. I'll send you a pm.

Glad to help

I've read somewhere on here that you have to bed these in before they perform, something about doing 10 runs of braking 80% from 60mph-10mph. Whats your plan?

Yep, exactly, this is the guide i use:

1. From 60mph, gently apply the brakes a couple of times to bring them up to operating temperature. This prevents you from thermally shocking the rotors and pads in the next steps.

2. Make eight to ten near-stops from 60mph to about 10-15 mph. Do it HARD by pressing the brakes firmly, but do not lock the wheels or engage ABS. At the end of each slowdown, immediately accelerate back to 60mph and then apply the brakes again. DO NOT COME TO A COMPLETE STOP! If you stop completely and sit with your foot on the brake pedal, you will imprint pad material onto the hot rotors, which could lead to vibration and uneven braking.

3.The brakes may begin to fade after the 7th or 8th near-stop. This fade will stabilize, but not completely go away until the brakes have fully cooled. A strong smell from the brakes, and even some smoke, is normal.

4.After the last near-stop, accelerate back up to speed and cruise for a while, using the brakes as little as possible. The brakes need only a few minutes to cool down. Try not to become trapped in traffic or come to a complete stop while the brakes are still very hot.

Cheers!

Hello Mo & the rest,

taking a look at my old ebay sales i found a company i used to deliver a couple of taillights for my old 1 series, they were cheap and reliable, and they serve UK & Overseas:

worldwide-parcerlservices.co.uk

and i got a 10% discount code for them "OLYMPIC10PC" that Mo can use to get us all cheaper delivery.

i don't know if it will make a big difference in price for you guys in the UK, but there it is..

Mo, I'll pm you with my delivery details.!

Cheers!

Received, many thanks MO!! I'm leaving you some positive feedback!

Edit: i can't leave feedback... it says: "There was an error in your deal details" i have double check it an everything seems to be in order... Maybe because there is no "for sale" tag on the thread??
