Is there a brake sensor for the e-brake?

I have 57K right now on the car. I did new rear pads about 10k ago and forgot to check the e-brake pads. Handle pull still seems ok. Will I get a warning light if they get low, or is there some other way to know if they need to be replaced?

TIA

No, there is no sensor. You will need to pull the rear rotors off to physically look at the e-brake shoes.
