You guys bitching about your 335s.. I just don't get it man... you have your problems with any car.

You think you're safe with a 328? Just wait till your waterpump goes out of warranty, or your VANOS, or if you have X-drive your transfer box takes a shit.

All cars have problems son- you just happen to hear about them more when people post on a forum like this. You seem very bitter about your 335, and quite frankly, I understand where you're coming from due to your experience.

But I assure you, there are just as many 335's out there running strong and putting smiles on peoples faces every time they press down on their accelerators than not.

I'll take three good years in my 335 m-sport convertible now than 10 "good" years in my 328 x drive coupe that I had prior to it all day long.

Sorry to hear about your vehicles problems...

Both of my 335xi's were very reliable and had practically no issues. Sold one with 60k miles and the other with over 80k...

Old guys should be limited to cheap cars? Really Its to bad some people in your generation worry & agonize about what "message" they are sending instead of just living their lives. This sending a message seems to be a big deal with some of you. Here is my message.

That's why I bought the 328 in 2007. I would love the extra power but at the time I did not want to gamble on the reliability of the Turbo

OP...it does sound like you need a hug. Head right over to Toyota and Honda and they will take care of you Just SELL or TRADE in the damn car already for all those that keep complaining in this forum. A retard is one that keeps driving a car they hate.

I love this car... When it is not in the shop. I am going to trade it in when ever I get it back. I'm going to check out the dealerships to see what catches my eye. I'm very disappointed in this experience. I know all cars have their problems but this model in particular is over kill. I know some people don't have any problems but just the sheer volume of known problems is unbelievable. Watch when I get my car back the low battery problem happens to me like the others who got their cars back from the wire recall. I'm about to buy a everyday car as well as a weekend car just so I have a go to vehicle like a Toyota or a Subaru.

I understand and empathize with your frustration over your car, but I retract my earlier well-wishes. You are correct about one thing - you are indeed an idiot. But it has more to do with your bitter worldview than your car choice. An Audi won't fix that problem.

Awesome you were in the military like me. I retired 6 years in the marines with 5 tours of combat in Iraq. I was a Scout sniper with 19 comfirmed kills. retired as gunny sgt E7. So don't try and impress me with your military experience.

And the BS continues to stack up deeper & deeper...... Based on your claimed Marine resume its looks more & more like you are a 15 year old keyboard commando.

BTW tell me about the Semi-Pro martial arts thing.

Hey OP, I had some initial sympathy after reading your original post as I've had a bad experience with my previous 335...but then you went and opened your mouth. Especially that retarded bit about older people driving good cars. For some of us it's a teenager or a 20-something driving an expensive car that looks abnormal and reeks of entitlement. An older person driving a nice car usually conveys a successful life and having earned the right to indulge in the niceties that he/she now has.

I love my BMWs, but my dream car is the Porsche 911 and I could very well have bought a very lightly used one instead of the 335is. The reason I did not is because I feel like I have not yet done anything to deserve that 911, and buying it just because I can afford to is not going to provide the same satisfaction as having earned the right to realize it. So for some of us an older gentleman driving a nice car actually speaks a lot more than a young person fooling around in something that they clearly have not earned.

You are nothing but an ignorant idiot. Get that Audi soon so you can GTFO of here. You will not be missed.

PS: Absolutely no offense intended or meant to any of the other young members of the forum.

I'm done talking to u. I accomplished many things in my life that u wouldn't even dare dreaming of. And it ended bad I blew out my orbital and broke my nose sparing. it's funny how your digging soooo deep when u don't even know me. I'm also a narcotics officer with 6.5 years in the department while i was in the marines. Do u believe that? But I am regardless of what u think. You got rude with me cause of my experience with my car? Just cause you drive the same car? Your looking up a old post about me hitting something in the road? What a joke. Lets talk about cars and not you showing a picture of your insignificant contribution to the country. Cause everything I did for the country is above and beyond anything you have ever done. This is a bmw message board. Im venting my frustration with my vehicle that's it. No need for u to be offended about my frustration with my car.

No. Thing is people like you give young guys a really bad name. I am sure that most people are aware that there are more Navy Seals, Marine Scout Snipers, US Army snipers & Black Belts on the internet than have ever existed in real life.

Sounds to me like you were doing a little more than that with your PSA.

I saw this thread a few days ago and figured I wouldn't fuel the fire but I've had a great experience with our car so far. You're obviously pissed and I don't think anyone has any issues with that. But, calling everyone a retard for buying a 335, that's a different story. Downplaying the input of all the people who haven't been as "unfortunate" as you and whose cars are running well? Not really cool.

Good luck with your future cars. No need to defend your decision or talk big here about buying RS5s and all that. Just do your research, buy your next car and enjoy! No one's job here is to force you to have a BMW.

I ain't full of shit like u think i am. I'm sorry i called u old and irrelevant but you were rude to me. I did a little martial arts back when i was a kid too. Good times.

The "boards" are concrete patio blocks, lets see a picture with E7 stripes & qualification badges not the basic training graduation shot. Best thing for you to do IMHO is the old soldier thing & just fade away instead of continuing to dig the hole deeper

BTW you said a few posts back you were a Marine & a cop at the same time Tangled web & all that.
