Thanks for the help.

Man, you need to get a scanner hooked up to see what the codes are...

Judging by the age of your car, I'd say it's probably an oxygen sensor, but you would need to get the code that is being thrown. If your computer allows you to do a "check control", it should show up if you keep the button depressed long enough; if not, probably best to find someone with a scanner or take it to a dealer or authorized BMW repair shop.

updated with fault codes.

Still need a hand

From what I could read (based on topics; not a 100% credible source, I know)

2ACB looks like an input signal issue,
2A2E seems to be Mixture control 1 and
2A2F seems to be Mixture control 2

Anybody can confirm?

Sounds like issues caused by the PBX (even if its on map 0 for 3 months now)... I dont like that.

So did you ever find out what 2ACB means or how it's realated to your tune? I get that one every time, so I don't know what's causing it or if it's anything to be concerned about. An "input signal issue" with the DME... does it mean we've got something tapped into the DME that doesn't belong there as stock? What I was thinking the cause could be is the DAEOS (formerly known as Vista) harness that taps into a wire in the ECU and has some other resistors and a ground wire that keeps my angel eyes (LUX 5.0) on all time time as my daytime running lights. Do you have a similar setup? Maybe that's all it is...

Same here. I clear it all the time and it always come back. At least its a shadow code so no CEL. I got DAEOS too.

If its only related to that, I wouldnt mind too much about it.
