For those waiting at the port in Bremerhaven, there is a searchable database of all ships leaving the port here. It allows you to enter the destination port and the type of ship (vehicle carrier). Since some people have found themselves on ships besided WWL, this may be helpful. It also lists the last day that the ship will accept bookings for that voyage, which may help you figure which ship you will be on. As far as I know, I'm still sitting on the ground waiting and my 330xi finished production 7/4...no info on the WWL site when searching my VIN.

edit:

I think I'm on the AUTO BANNER. It left the port 7/17/06, and is set to reach Port Hueneme on 8/9/2006.

Hi, my CA gave me a production number, I entered it on the site but says does not match. Is there a time frame when the production number starts showing on the site ? after the CA placed the order ?.

Call 800-831-1117, say "Vehicle Production Status", and then say/enter the production number. It will give you the latest update.

Just FYI for those of you who are trying to track on W&W... it doesn't appear that their tracking info is up to date. I had to go through customer service to verify that my car is en route. Neither my VIN or bill of lading came up valid on the site.

BUT... my car is on the way, woo hoo.

How did you do that, the 1800 number says my car is at port, but the W&W site doesnt have anything on my car. My VIN wont even pull up.

edit: My CA just replyed to my e-mails looks like im on the Freedom!

It's kind of a minor hobby of mine now, to watch the Bremerhaven webcam, ever since I discovered it. As a matter of fact I have an application that captures a cam-shot every 60 seconds and another app that will stitch the shots together for a video. I put together a week once, which takes about 10 minutes to view.

But normally I just check it a few times a day, and, as a matter of course, I just save the photo every time. So I have about 10 shots a day. The odds are pretty good if I know what the name of your ship is and when it left I'll have a photo. Of course, there are several other docks nearby that aren't always visible. But still, odds are good.

I was pleased to find a photo of the Mignon on the very evening it departed. Just good fortune.

Keep us posted on the arrival of you new baby and be sure to post photos!

I got my car last September, but still enjoy watching the car-carriers and tracking them on their journeys.

I did not see the Leo Leader, it probably loaded at a dock that was out of sight of the camera. But here is a photo of her.

Additonally I've also uploaded a photo of the docks that the camera points at. The camera looks roughly from left to right. So the ships behind the one on the left can be obscured, often competely.

My drop off agency in Madrid send me e-mail back in July that my car will be on "Leo Leader" :
Your car is leaving Madrid today.
Name of the ship "Leo Leader" ETD from Zeebrugge: August 7th., 2007

The Leo Leader is now tied to the dock in Bremerhaven. Here is a photo of her as of 7:39 PM local time today, 8/14/06.

My car apparently reached Port Hueneme, CA sometime on Friday 8/11. Owner's Circle isn't updated yet (..still showing En Route). I hope I have my car sometime this week.
