I just got my 2008 335i in black. Having this same dilemma. Don't want to buy one if I'm not going to install it. Would gloss black or matte black look better so you think?

I have matte black on a montego blue but have the aluminum trim around the window. I think it looks good because it matches the matte black rear diffuser in the rear bumper. The window trim matches the exhaust tips, so it ties together.

On a black car if you arent going for the all black look you could try brushed aluminum
