[url=http://s13.photobucket.com/user/tee212/media/PhotoApr1772421PM_zpsfef8984e.jpg.html]

Thats the dull side facing out in the pix, the gloss side would be the end product. I was goona use alum rivets to fasten the cf piece to the bracket but opted for titanium bolts because i just lust over anything titanium. so its not done yet but you guys get the idea

why is one flapper jacker larger than the other flapper jacker?

Doesn't look bad, props on using real CF.

I honestly like the aluminum bracket. It'll be more forgiving against vibrations and heat cycling (sort of close to the exhaust). CF can get really brittle over time (obviously i don't know what resin/finish coat OP used).

Im in the process of making a full under panel made of 1.3mm cf and 0.04" grade5 ti right now. i ended up using ti hardware for the side pieces. Still researching on cost of the sheet and how bendable it is in that gauge. i go nuts alone designing the shape of the inner fins. its very time consuming

Quality work, bro! I love the look of the burnt titanium bolts. Nice attention to detail!

Couple of questions for ya':
- Where'd you get the titanium bolts? Not exactly available at Home Depot.
- Any pics of how you mounted the 90 deg angle bracket to the rear bumper? You know why I'm asking.

FYI - I've got my side splitters cut out as I picked up some ABS yesterday, but I'm waiting for the 3M carbon fiber vinyl wrap to arrive (bought it on Amazon).

Once I get those mounted, my next project will be the diffuser.

I actually didn't realize you posted this and were making your own diffuser too until just now. Nice taste!
