JB4: 460rw stock turbos

Just saw these results posted from BMS' MT E92. Looks to be a new N54 stock turbo world record.

Full mod listing:

JB4 G5 ISO
BMS back end flash -- "race" file
BMS downpipes
CPE intercooler
CPE chargepipe w/ tial valve
BMS DCI
BMS OCC
Spec clutch w/ steel single mass flywheel
BMS 2.2g meth kit w/ 80% ethanol / 20% water, CM12 nozzle
E40 fuel (40% E98, 60% pump 91 octane)
"Option2" inline booster pump

Sweet! Nice work fellas! Whenever I see Dyno's like this, it steers me away from going to stage2 Vargas level or RB level turbo upgrades. For the big jump you really need to go Stage 3 Vargas or ST from ShivFFTEC

All vendors should seriously stop all these "world record" claims (every other thread is one) . Other than that awesome numbers!

Nice numbers!! Thats ALOT of boost for the stockers though...Be careful if your out of the turbo warrant period. If you are, then crack that baby up

But how long do you think those stockers will last doing that? I think maybe the RB's and Vargas S2's would be able to handle it consistently. Well at least the RB's at that psi are putting down 500 or a little over.

True...but for me, I am way out of warranty and would rather blow through my existing stock turbos before getting an upgraded set. I didn't mod this car with super longevity in mind. I have my stock MKV GTI for that

Terry at BMS does an awesome job with tuning these cars, as this stock turbo dyno is definitely impressive. But it's so easy to hear or see a peak number and think thats all that matters. I have attached a dyno provided from Terry when tuning another similarly modded car with RB Turbos vs. this exact stock turbo car in this thread. As you can see, they are very similar on the low end but the top end charge differences are VERY much altered. Review the numbers up top and you may reconsider RB Turbos being much of a jump in power.

As impressive as Johns car is for stock turbos, he will have no chance once we hit 3rd gear and the RBs take over the top end. Has been proven times and times over. It feels reeeeeeally good holding that 500whp to redline, trust me
