own 335i just bought e36 auto tranny help ? please look

Hi 335 ownrz I just picked up e36 94 auto and its not shifting into 5 or 4 gear noit sure which 1. Figure I can ask u guys cause some of us had e36 @ 1 point of time thanks for your help.

do you have the e36 transmission installed on your 335i?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I'm 100000000% sure that setup will NOT WORK!!!!!

Well, an E36 auto doesn't have 5 gears (except the M3). They were all 4 speed GM transmissions.

Might be something wrong with the selector switch. Used to see them go bad back in the day. Good luck with it....

I own 2007 335i and just bought 94 e36 automatic. My issue is on the 94 ok then its not going into 4th gear then selector switch ? Ok I will look it up and ok tune up
