Want to lower on springs

Decided I want to lower the car (e93) and more or less decided on H&R springs. Anyone got any experience of what the ride quality is like or got any pics of their car on H&Rs.
Also I'll need to get them fitted...any recommendations of where to go and how much I should be looking to spend on fitting?

I'd say $600-$650 would be a decent price out the door.

A proper specialist indy should be able to do it for £300 inc tracking. You could get a £150 jobbie but then you'd have to have tracking done properly e.t.c. Those cheapo tracking services dont cut it for our cars unfortunetely.

You might as well guess again.

Having done it, a good tech will take at least three hours.

It requires a four wheel geometry realignment after lowering.

So £400 is a fair estimate. Boxtyp3 is on the money...

The drop is excellent and the car looks so much more purposeful!

I love the look but on crap roads it can be quite painful. It does tend to crash around and horrendous when you hit a pot hole! Although I wasn't on a standard set up for long so could be just as bad on standard suspension with run flats....

I'd do it again in a flash but worth considering uprated shocks to complement the shorter springs.

Had h&r race. The drop is really nice and the ride is almost as oem. I will say tho I only used the rear springs because of the slight sag bmws already come with in the rear

Oh yeah on the fitting front, it took me and a mate a couple of evenings to do. It was the first time on an E92 and with the addition of a ramp I'd say you could do it in a couple of hours....

A four wheel alignment is essential after aswell.

Budget £300 - £400
