E9X 335i > E9X M3

Well guys, looks like we all picked the right 3 series. ESS's new supercharger for the m3 put down 703rwhp and 478rwtq. Both Vargas and Vishnu put down better numbers than that on their respective turbo upgrades. The supercharger kit even costs more than both of them! Not trolling ESS or anything, they did amazing work getting the m3 over 700. Just saying our N54's have quite the potential over the big S65's!

its not all about the power, M3 will out handle and sure as hell sounds better than a n54. But this has been argued to death.

If you buy an M3 just for power, it's like buying a Mass Enhancer and just engulfing the whole powder.

You won't see any improvement unless you use it for what it was made for and correctly. M3 was more of a track car with street use in mind.

Our car was built as a street car with some fun in mind.

In any case


A crx gutted with a k20 would probably be the best option here.

Man the amount of hate is ridiculous, just comparing the aftermarket forced induction parts and prices of the two, that's all. Not saying horsepower is all the matters or anything. Just looking forward to what the future has in store for both engines and the bmw aftermarket in general. If I was looking for trolls I would have just posted this on the m3 forum. Since when did e90 post turn into reddit.....

Hey kboss where are you going to start dragging at since they closed firebird? I heard Lucas bought it and is keeping the drag strip alive. Did you make a last run the night it closed?

What's the difference between the E90 M3 suspension and the E90 335 suspension?

If its just sway bars, those are easily interchangeable.

Quite a lot.... .

I have a 335i and i will ALWAYS say the M3>335I. Not even a question. Unless your going for a high-HP straight-line car (in which case you would need a suspension/lock-downkit/LSD/etc) as far as suspension goes... And youd be retarded to choose an N54 for straight-line power when a LS2 will get you there 100x cheaper....

Control arms, sway bars, bushings, shocks/springs, etc...

I will say that a *stock* M3 is better than a *stock* 335i.

Once people start spending money it's whoever has the deepest pockets and the biggest balls.

I went from a 325-330-335i-M3-and now 335 n54. M3 was slower then my 335 yes but they way it handled and delivered the power was amazing. I trying to make my car look, handle and out perform the M3 at a cheaper price. But I do miss my M3.

It's true to a point though that the Cayman S is faster than 911 on the track. A Cayman S modded can be positioned in between the 911 and GT3. Mid-engine does help a lot. Anyways Porsche is a different story.

I don't think much BMW's can come even close to a Porsche.

ALOT-of ways mostly performance lol.

not MPG, torque numbers *stock for stock*, AWD option, cheaper maintenance, and maybe less on insurance?
