BMW VIN decoder

Hi guys,
i'm about to pull the trigger on a 335 but was wondering if anyone had access to a database that would be able to decode the VIN.

basically telling me what options the car came with.

I've had luck in the past with other makes, but didn't know if someone here in our community could help.

thanks in advance!

Why does everyone always recommend third-party VIN decoders? BMW provides this themselves:

For anyone who wants to do a VIN BUILD SHEET lookup, go to http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/acc...catalogue.html.

Click on electronic parts catalog on the right, log in with the credentials shown right there on that first page: eu111111 / bmwetk1

Enter the last 7 digits of the VIN and then click Options in the title row at the top of the page.

As far as I'm aware, that's only available from BMW dealerships or some very limited number of independent people who have access to their databases.
