Shiv! Trying to contact you re: order

Sorry folks. I don't know where else to post this. Mods, feel free to move. Since he's in this forum more than others (I assume)...

Shiv,

I ordered the PROcede off your site last Thu morning. I had indicated that if it was possible to ship overnight to be at my door on Friday, then to please ship as such, otherwise, just ship ground. I had also ordered the V2 upgrade, but didn't realize at the time that it wasn't shipping until the 10th and that existing customers get first dibs. No problem, so I called the answering service to explain that, which I assume got across as I was charged the $1,345 (unit + overnight). I emailed Calvin that Friday to confirm everything. The only response I got was

Quote:
Hi Christian,

It was shipped overnight without a c-reader.

Cheers.
Ok...no problem except that it wasn't there Friday, or Saturday...all the way up to today and still nothing.

I've called the answering service several times and sent Calvin, the sales account and you an email as well as you a PM and I have YET to get any response...since FRIDAY.

Now, I'm not the customer who wants my product 2 hours after I order it, but when I fork over 1300 bucks, pay for overnight shipping, was told that it shipped overnight, don't receive anything for a week and get only the response above I tend to get a little ticked.

Care to:

1) Give me a tracking #?
2) Tell me if it even shipped?
3) Respond in any way, shape, or form?

All I ask is for some kind of customer service. Even though technically I'm not a customer, the 1300 that was handed over certainly makes it look that way. I just am asking what's going on.

Thanks!

Christian Dawson

Well, your not the only one. After all the screws up it took me 30 days to get a working product....good luck. Don't expect any follow up as this is not going to happen.

Christian,
I'm in the same situation as you except I ordered on Mon. 9/3. I also paid extra for overnight shipping. My credit card was charged on 9/4. After several e-mails and calls I today finally spoke w/ Calvin. I was told that there was a batch of bad harnesses and that they expected a new batch next week. Now, hopefully I'll get it by the end of next week. Did yours ship out yet?

rlb,

That what he told me as well, which is fine. I was hoping they'd explain it, but that's not important. What is is that now we (and whoever else may be wondering the same thing) now know that there is a harness issue. That's all I was asking for; some information.

Nope, I'm still waiting on one issue. They don't follow up like most vendors do...just a fact.

Hi guys,
Last week was kind of a mess for us as well. Not only was Dustin (our head tech support guru) on his much-deserved week-long vaction, it was also the first week that we had to do with Manas (who just went back to school). So it was basically me and Calvin trying to run the whole show. We're sorry about last week's PROcede shipping delays. It's been a while since we haven't had PROcede kits in stock so the harness delays took us by surprise. We expect to be fully caught up early next week with PROcede v1.47 orders. And the v2 ship out extraveganza begins right after that.

Orb- I'm not sure what you are referring to with regard to your remaining issue. But I'll ask Dustin to follow up with you tomorrow.

Regards,
Shiv

Thanks, Shiv.

That's all I was looking for. I've had a relationship with a local shop for several years now so I'm well aware of how hectic things can get, but all we, as customers, need is to be informed. That I think would solve 90% of these he said/she said bashing posts and threads, which I assure you was not the intention of this one. Communication is the biggest thing in customer service and I've seen several posts from you indicating your intention to that end. Regardless of what others say, it's my experience that matters so...I'm sorry that it resorted to a thread, but thanks for finally letting me know what's going on...by proxy anyway.

If you'd like to discuss your request, please feel free to call me.

I can't complain

I believe that last week they were pretty tied up. I ordered mine 2 days ago and contacted them by email Wednesday around 9:30PM EST and got an answer by Thursday 1:09 PM EST saying mine is going to be shipped next week b/c they had run out of PROcedes.

Today Calvin called me b/c I messed up with the credit card's number. I am not saying Vishnu Tunning suck or that they don't at customer service but you may give them the benefit of the doubt.

Shiv, IMHO, I think you should update your website saying the product is out of stock or that your PROcedes' chips order is on their way and this will avoid having customer PMing/emailing you that at the end of the day would save you lot of time not having to reply. when you do 99 things good and just 1 bad, the latter one blemish the first and the word spread around at light's speed.

Another thing is that, We, customer dont understand is that "next day shipping" means that is going to be shipped whenever they pack it up, charged your credit card, etc. then after all that's done is when "next day" start the count down basically it cut down the delivery from 7 business day to 3-5 maybe.

Damn this is a long reply

Christian,
That's reassuring we were both told the same thing. As with you all I wanted was some information. Hopefully the v1.47's will ship out next week as scheduled. Then the wait begins for v2.

Sooooo...

In my attempt to keep things up to date (and keep you guys in check), it's now Thursday and I surely haven't seen a ship notification. Care for supplying a new estimate?

Well if he wasn't getting a response and/or being contacted- starting a thread on the forum was actually the smart thing to do.

Guys, relax, whats the big deal of waiting? When I ordered XEDE in December, later it became the Procede, I got it in March. Thats a wait of three monts. Good things take a bit longer to arrive.
