Detailing Products....Where should i go

Hey E90Post,
Im starting to run out of the meguiar's stuff i have been using and am looking at buying some chemicals/soaps/detailing equipment. I want to support someone on the forums, and am not sure who sells detailing products/equipment.

So, detailing vendors, chime in and let me see what you got! Im looking for:

-washing soap
-buffer/buffer pads
-wax
-interior dress-up chemicals
-black plastic chemical (the stuff that makes black plastic 'blacker')
-anything else that you think i should use

Id love it if Auto Finesse or someone else could chime in.

Also, where would be the best place to learn the proper way to clean, dry, wax, detail, claybar a car? Im not 100% sure what to do and what to use, and would love some assistance! I always see people using sprays/guns when first washing their cars and for cleaning their rims. Id love to figure out how to properly detail the car. Thanks!

-Eric

Support our forum sponsor like Detail Image.

http://www.detailedimage.com/

or Detailers Domain

http://www.detailersdomain.com/

Autogeek Online is a great Detail Forum for pros and hobbyist. There are several members in E90 post (like myself) that hangs out there as well. Members are very helpful and you will never get a response like " Use the search button" when you post a question but please..... don't be a troll.

Eric,

Let me know how I can help you out.
Do you have a budget? Can you tell me more about your car?
Color, condition, what do you currently have for car care? Bucket? Grit Guards?

Hey there,

Its a 2007 Space Grey E92 and a 2013 Porsche Panamera in Carrera White, both cars garaged every day. The Panamera is about a year old and is in very good condition, the E92 is in OK condition. Id like to spend less than $250 for right now, but ill be ordering more eventually. I have some random buckets that i have been using, as well as some microfiber towels. Ive been using Meguiars stuff (paste wax/soap) as well as some random leather conditioner (i forget the name of it). I also have an unopened Mothers Claybar kit, ive been too afraid to try and use it without proper instruction haha

What would you recommend as far as the basics for the exterior/interior? I guess im not really sure what it is i need

Also, do you have a guide similar to DetailedImage's? Id love to read it! Im really just winging it when i wash/clean/wax the car. Although i usually try to avoid something that i feel will give me swirls. Although i bought the car CPO and it already had quite a bit...
