Feeler: E82 M-Sport Front Seats

Hi, I'm just wondering if there's any interest out there for my M-Sport Front Seats. They have electric adjustment with memory function and electric lumbar as well as electric side bolster support. They are trimmed in boston black.

From what I can tell on RealOEM, the M-Sport electric seat mechanism is the same in both the E82 and the E92 and should be plug and play but I cannot be 100% sure as I haven't been able to find any information of someone doing this before.

PM me for any further information.

I do recall him saying he didn't think they were comfy when he sat in them which is why I'm intrigued....

I found that the BMW Performance seats were a little too wide for me and the lumbar support area didn't seem that supportive either. They're also just crazy expensive...

I'll probably eventually go for some fixed back buckets as I've sat in some that are pretty darn comfy.

Hmm may I ask what waist size you are? I'm a 38" and being a big bastard I dont reckon i will fit into the BMWP jobs

I believe recaro make a seat very similiar, thats XL size for sport truck type applications (has flatter squabs to be more accomodating) but these would still be at least $3-4K also a pair...

Hmmm if you're talking about seats that are very similar then I believe you are talking about the Recaro Sportster CS. The BMWP seats are actually just BMW trimmed Recaro Sportster CS's.

I have a waist size of about 34-35". To be honest, I'm sure the seats would be quite good in terms of support, especially when compared to the stock seats and I reckon you would probably fit perfectly. Much better than I did anyway. I personally didn't find them that impressive when I sat in them and would prefer something a bit softer in the lumbar area as well as a bit tighter around the shoulders. Also something a lot lighter haha. I'm looking at maybe a pair of Sparco's, Evo or Pro2000.
