This is where I'm going with my logic 7. Bit one. Jl xd400/4 and xd700/5. Hertz Ml 700". Front and rear. Stock sub and rear deck stock for now. Waiting on install tomorrow. Need technic harness. Otherwise I'm going to splice wire. Driving me nuts not having enough post for pm. And recs for underseat sub? Jehnert or audio-system. Rear panel will eventually be replacewith hertz as well. No trunk sub

The Hertz ML700 looks very nice -all Hertz speakers in fact look great-, however the 200Hz and above response is not that great for our 3-Series. The issue is the woofers underseat location.

With a 200Hz response the underseat woofers will have to be forced to go to 250Hz. At that frequency the door mids will accentuate the impression of a midbass hole. Normally a 100Hz-150Hz and above is the sweet spot for the door mids to blend with the underseat woofers midbass in the 3-Series.

The ML700 may or may not sound good to you, but they are more designed to be used in the same plane as the woofers.

Also, does anyone know how to get a hold of VP electricity (since I can't PM) and if he is selling the fiberglass sub boxes? I wouldn't be able to bring car due to distance. Thanks all and glad to be part of the forum!

hi technic, need to install jl xd600/6 in my 08 328i with hifi. can u give me a price for ur harness plz ... new member so can PM .. hope u read it ?

also, on the 600/6 can I run 2 under-seat subs on channel 5 in series (4ohm) and a compact 10inch trunk sub on channel 6.

let me know if it sounds crazy ?
