That's cool. I didn't know the BMW nav had this and I have v25 software on mine. I wonder if it is only on RTTI cars or if I'm just missing it.

Several other nav manufacturers have this function as a "detour" option, and it's generally pretty useful when you want to get off the highway for a brief period, so I'm interested to see how BMW implemented it.

it shows the route on the map and you can have it on the assist screen i believe also....anyways that is what the map is for
