i think the two absurd parts are:

1. ridiculous price (even if asking)
2. have to buy OEM wheels for lease return

no thats not the reason.

The reason is...

1. You're trying to sell the car at or above MSRP w/ 7k in miles regardless how they were put on the car people don't care. Still 7k they had no supervision of how the car was driven during those miles. I don't care if God drove it those 7k cuz God still would have rowed through the gears a number of times.

2. You're asking MSRP for the mods. You know just as well as everyone else that once you install a mod the value drops, not stays the same. Those mods were used for 7k miles as well, and the only mod holding value are those very nice set of BBS rims.

3. It's absurd that you think OEM mods will help someone when getting their car appraised by a dealer. You know you would rake every one of us over hot coals telling us how worthless our mods are. If not please, I'll drive my 325i to you next weekend. Under your rule book my car is prolly still worth 30k(15k miles now), has mem and heated seats, upgraded OEM parts are ///M steering wheel, same pedals in your 335i, OEM euro xenons(installed by my dealer with no error), blacklines, tint, 19' BBS CH and a few other small goodies. SOOO 30k for the car and MSRP for my OEM upgrades, my car should roughly be 36-37k. Isn't it cool that my upgrades made my car now more expensive then it's MSRP lol. Sounds like a good deal to me, how bout you? PM me so we can make a deal to get me your price bloated 335i sooner

hmmm... idk, but I used my car's dinan exhaust system from bavauto as a negotiation point to lower the price, so probably!

Along the same lines of this car.... I was at a dealer who had a 328 E92 demo w/ 7,000 miles on it and the "best" they would do was 1,500 under MSRP.

this car makes me sick! looks clean but if one of us brought this car in on a trade for a new m3 or a new car we would be offered $35k and told that it was generous and that the upgrades were tacky. not to be harsh, but dont be an ass with a price like that, start with $50k and say make offer. its a ragged out demo with some nice upgrades and its a 1 year old car now.

Let's see:

Complete Aero Kit MSRP $1400.00
Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler (incl. adhesive) MSRP $487.75
Carbon Fiber Splitters MSRP $670.00
Painted Grille $100 approx.
Blackline Tail Lights MSRP $266.00
Shadowline Trim RealOEM Price $822.50
50% Solar Window Tint $200 approx.
BMW Headliner Mounted Removable DVD System (all inclusive) MSRP $2559.20
iPod Interface MSRP $319.95
Aluminum E-Brake Handle MSRP $45.00
Aluminum Pedals and Footrest MSRP $160.00
Rubber Mats MSRP $77.90
Rubber Trunk Mat MSRP $70.00
BBS RGR 19" Rims Tirerack Price $5000.00 approx. with Michelin PS/2
Throw in 10 hours of labor at $100 per hour as well as $500 for paint and miscellaneous fees

The sub-total of OEM mods with tint comes out to $6739.30 MSRP! Throw in labor and paint, that would be at $8239.30.

The GRAND TOTAL including wheels and $1500 labor and paint comes out to $13239.30!!

If you factor in the invoice pricing on all the parts (~60% of MSRP), lower labor rate, the total would have been even lower, approximately $10K worth of mods total.

I wonder how the OP figure out the $15,000 worth of OEM mods with wheels in his / her posts......... LIAR!

Ok this isn't about the car, this is about inflated dealership pricing, and their tactics to wring out as much money from their customers (victims?) as possible.

Those tactics will get flamed here on this forum.

That should be fairly obvious by now.....

Selling a 1 year old demo with close to 7K miles for 60K is just ludicrous!

The OP can flame us for being cheap or whatever, but it doesn't change the blood sucking nature of the pricing.

Nice work. Don't forget the money that they made by selling all the original parts. Did they take that out of the cost of the car?

no thanks for the additional "pimp my ride" costs

what a joke. If you sell this car at or near your asking price, please take a picture of this person next to the bridge you sold to him also.

I just did the math: "Special Demo Pricing" = Regular pricing + $10,000.

However, they throw in an extra 7,000 miles of wear at no extra charge.

"New Demo Price!!?"

Should read "Used Car with 7000 miles for much higher than brand new car price!"
