Major weight savings here maybe?

Not sure if this would be the right one for our cars or not but they have others on their site. All weigh just 5lbs

I'm not sure with the traction issues the x35i suffers from, you would really want to pull any weight from the rear. Also the battery location darn near perfectly offsets the weight of a driver.
