Chrome Trim on 320i SE?

Is it possible to get the chrome grill and window surrounds as an optional extra on the 320i SE?

I dont fancy fitting it myself.

I'm sure your dealer can do it - although I don't think it will be available as a factory option.

Otherwise .. try here:

yes it can be done

Hi i have seen a sparkling graphite 320d se in the town where i live with chrome oem grille and window surounds it was a bmw chandlers demo vechicle owned currently by local estate agent .I think they must have carried out the work in there own workshop the car looks just like a six cylinder variant

very nice mod imho

somewhere on the diy pages its shown it cant be that hard i managed it on a e46 saloon approx 6 yrs ago and was well pleased

oem parts

I think you will find oem parts are quite reasonable you need four door trims two roof /gutter trims and grill i would think less than 200 .it will transform your car and well worth the effort

I ve just bought a chrome grill on ebay for 50 for my 320D SE. Not arrived yet but seems straight forward to fit, pull off the old one and glue on the new chrome one with adhesive acrylic foam strips.

I enquired about getting the chrome window strips ages ago and I think the dealer quoted approx. 350 fitted. (I didn't bother in the end)

Me too - If I did have the chrome I'd be looking at replacing it with black - horses for courses, everyone likes different stuff
