black with white rims?

im considering powder coating my rims and roof rack. my e92 is jet black.. should i go black or white? they are 19in lm reps

I was thinking same thing since I made my grill trim white, im going to dip next rims when I get them, my stocks too small for white... To me I like the look specially e92 are lower then e90

Unless you have aftermarket wheels don't waste your time. You need an aggressive wheel with major lips and a sexy face to pull off white wheels.

And black is the hardest color to do it with anyway. Silver or gray usually look best. Black is not impossible to pull off... but you better have the right suspension and body styling to pull that off. Otherwise you're just gonna look RICEY.

also i was thinking white roof rack and white center caps? and calipers. this way if the white makes it look so weird it can easily be reversed

I once saw a guy who had a roof rack on a white Bronco, but he had wrapped a blue tarp around the left side of the front roof rack bar and a red tarp around the right side of the roof rack bar.

It looked like a light bar! But I bet it was legal. No law says you can't have a roof rack and no law says anything about the colors of tarps you can have on your roof rack (As long as they are secure)
