Maybe we can target Sunday 6/30/2013 for your Flash event??
Sounds good to me. I will not flash my car just yet, that way if we meet I can use my car as a mule so I can show you guys how its done.

I'm going to take a shot at doing/installing Vinyl on my Chrome window trim as a learning exercise. If your interested in coming out to watch/lend a hand that would be great. If you would like to do a mod on your car this weekend... please toss out some suggestions and I'm sure we can work you in.

I'm located behind the Woodbridge Mall in Central NJ (Behind the Bosco's/Fortuneoff Parking area).

If you guys would like to request a mod... I would be more then welcome to help you take on the following activities.

List of things I have experience doing:
1) Installing DCI
2) Cleaning and re-oiling old DCI's (Would require multiple days and we can install your stock intake till you come back for the cleaned cones)
3) Rear fog light switch lego mod
4) Installing JB4
5) Installing AE's
6) Installing HID Fog lights
7) Installing new D1S headlight bulbs
8) Installing factory alarm (you will need to find someone to code it for you tho).
9) Installing tint protector/mole skin
10) Changing out the stock HVAC filter or stock airbox filter (this is easy)

Things I plan on doing to my car in the near future:
A) Vinyl my chrome window trim
B) HPB Interior LED lighting
C) Automatic transmission shifter mod (for pinched wires when switching over to sport mode, seems like a common issue that all e9x automatics have over time)
D) Vinyl my interior trim
E) TBD - Please suggest a mod that you would like to learn together and we can take on the job.

Changing the steering wheel is also something I don't mind researching with you, seems like it will be fun to learn. But I don't do coding (So you will need to find someone else who can code any electronic features for the car to use).
Sorry for the ignorance, I'm a Mercedes guy who recently crossed over to the darkside! What additional features came on the sport models?

Great question, I myself don't have all the answers to that but this is what I believe:

Sport package adds
1) Sport wheels (sometimes that means 18" and other times that means 17")
2) Oil cooler (on the 335i it has an oil cooler, always check tho, but on the XI's it didn't for some reason).
3) Sport seats with bolsters and more adjustments
4) Sport suspension and a little lower
5) not sure what else???

If your willing to research DIYs for these with me, I'm down for retrofitting your car and/or my car with this stuff. Maybe do the following retrofit: http://www.dension.com/

Added you to the list, check out the instructions on my previous thread:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=853204

Lego parts needed:
3 x Round brick (any color): http://www.brickset.com/parts/?part=4211412
or
3 x Plate (any color) will build the equivalent of one round brick above: http://www.brickset.com/parts/?part=4633691

1 x plate (Any color): http://www.brickset.com/parts/?part=4211133

I have plenty of flat plates at home that I can cut into a 3 dimple flat plate so I'm not worried about that piece... it's the round brick which is harder to come by.

Depending on the year you might not need this. I have a 2011 E92 and I didn't have to use any lego bricks or pen caps.

What model and year is your car ?

Saturday, June 22nd @ 10am-ish (therefore I expect people to start trickling in about 11am-ish, you lazy bastards! )

but honestly... just give me a ring before you leave your homes with an ETA of when you think u will be at the mall. That way I can let others know a better ETA for the bulk of people to be here at the same time. This is a very informal event and just for fun. I've already PM'ed everyone my cell number.

I'm planning on hosting an event pretty much every weekend... so if you miss this weekend... there will be another event next weekend too.
