In my last job I use to work with a lot of europeans, 1 of them was Russian and said if u live in FL buy ur car, if u live in NYC lease.

Makes sense, NYC roads are pure sh!t u will be dumb to buy a car here these roads will screw it up in 2-3yrs which is why a lease is best if u live here, no need to worry about resale value or selling headache but if u like to mod your car there's only 1 option for ya.

Ahh, interesting. I assume the Russian ex co-worker has previously lived in both states and driven cars there? I can see what he means about NYC but I've never been to FL, so I wouldn't know. (BTW I'm located in California)

And I would like to mod my car and I suppose just try to sell of the parts at the end of the lease, even though I'll lose some money.

I went ahead and did a lease on 7/4 and current have had it for 2 nights/3days now. I'm still ecstatic and can't stop looking back at the car when I'm walking away from it. The Mineral White paint is just super nice under some LED lighting.

Thanks for the tip though! Cheers

tmdals0213, what were your lease details if you don't mind me asking. More specifically, what was MSRP and what was the selling price?

I'm looking at potentially purchasing one soon and want to know what kind of sale price these cars are going for at this point in the lifecyle and time of year.

Thanks a lot.

i actually went exactly the way i stated in the first post. my residual being around 44K.

i added the safe lease and also the tire wheel insurance.

if you want a new one, you should move quickly. if not then i do believe it is about time most of the 2011 335is owners are either ending their lease or about to.

good luck to you!
