I used to say that "too much power is nearly enough". In this case we're into the 'more than enough' zone. Opposite lock will only save you a certain number of times....this is eventually going to end up going through the hedge backwards.

Ah yes, thats Porky from Passionford, hes had some mental cars over the years, if anyone remembers the old Reyland Cosworth? That was his too along side various Ferraris and so on.
That kit car is mental and has a crazy spec, I can find the build thread if anyone is interested, its a good read

Would be good to see.

I did see a company who sell their version of Lotus 7/Caterham with tuning options upto 750bhp.

Must be mental to drive.

Sideways is not the fastest way around a corner.

Who gives a F$$K when it look that much fun!

Certainly got some skill. I drove that track in JP's Formula Jaguar and JPLM and can safely say I wasn't even half as fast as that guy and I was fastest in both on the day, good effort.

I shall be reading that.

Tend to agree with SteveC though. I've driven a friends r400 and I don't think I'd be in a hurry to get a shot of a bed frame with that much power.

I remember reading some comments on the forum from him after that track day saying he got a bollocking from the marshalls for drifting.
He said he wasn't, he was just trying to go in a straight line!
