I recently thought of selling my 07 335i but have decided to keep her and continue the fun.

Currently all that's been modified is:
- Dinan stage 2
- larger staggered wheels
- M3 steering wheel on order
- BMW PE

What's next:
- larger intercooler?
- intake?
- suspension bits?
- catless down pipes (less interested because of excessive noise)?
- anything else I'm forgetting?

For all those of you that have first hand experience with the above mods, what were the best value and what were the mods that gave you the immediate grin factor? I'm trying to prioritize.

Thanks guys!

I say suspension. Full bolt on is no fun unless your car handles well

Oh god...if you drop it make sure you go through the 3 common options though and make sure you get the one that suits you best.

My Subaru had coilovers. It was awesome on the track but in the real world i couldn't even have a coffee in my cup-holder because it would just spill haha.
Keep in mind my Subaru was a weekend car and i still would hate driving it on the weekend

Though i was running Cusco Zero 2's coilovers. Maybe if you get like struts and springs, or just springs, then maybe the ride quality will be fine and not as harsh as mine. I would avoid coil-overs unless you plan to only track the car.

Though i bet some people would say coils are fine. Everyone is different

I'm running KW v1 for xi and I ditched RFT... the ride isn't that worse than before these upgrades.

always a fan of suspension.

I have st coils on PSS and drive is perfect after the alignment though. Before it was aligned i though i made a mistake installing it but after it was done I absolutely love it.

Thanks for the input everyone!

Mike, How would the JB4 work with my current tune? Would I need to remove it?

What kind of pricing can you offer for an intake and FMIC?

The JB4 G5 has a setting for flashed cars. so works with your tune. Good combo actually.

We have the BMS DCI for 95.00 and we have several FMIC. ER, AMS, ETS and VRSF, etc.. Which one are you looking at. ER is the best one on the market and VRSF is the most budget friendly

What about the DCI + VRSF dp's + VRSF FMIC? The reviews are good and the price is unbeatable!

What kind of gains do you think I can expect with those 3 additions (i.e. DCI, FMIC, DP's)?

I went ahead and ordered the DP's and FMIC from N54Tuning. Will post reviews later. Next will be suspension and the JB4.

Quick question about the DP's. I assume I'll get an engine code soon after they're installed. Is the JB4 the only fix?

Thinking of getting the FMIC, for VRSF FMIC, what's the different between 5" & 7"? I don't care about the power increase, what I care is to protect the engine since I am out of warranty already!

The 7" is going to do a much better job protecting the engine as well as making more power since it's going to keep intake temps lower throughout the power band on multiple gear pulls as well as the upper rpm range of any of the taller gears.

Keeping intake temps low reduce the chance of pre-ignition or knock which will help keep your engine healthy. The power gains from running a bit more timing are also an added benefit as well
