These are hot wheels so most people are selling it for $3k and then put the MSRP price to show that you're getting a "deal" lol. When the fact is that its a "stock" wheel for the IS.

I was looking for those too. The cheapest place I found them was Tischer for $350-380 or so. My tire guy said replicas had been discontinued all over the place because BMW threatened to sue the various makers. Sounds like a BMW kind of deal since the only people wanting a BMW bolt pattern would be someone that already spent thousands on one of BMW's products - screw your friends.

These rims are actually amazing, sleek, aggressive, and sexy. Looking for oem- for the right price. I've heard so many problems with replicas -_-

Good choice ! Don't go with replicas, bbs replica, or bmw replica just doesn't worth it ! If you have actually seen how easy is it to bend BBS replica, u will never even wanna drive beside them !

Why is the fact that it's a "stock" wheel make it bad, or not worth the price tag?

The 313's look awesome and, being OEM "stock", means they're produced by BBS and are fairly light and very strong... I would take these over any aftermarket setup anyday, unless of course I can get a set of TE37's instead

The price reflects the product and market - good-looking, desirable, high-quality wheels = expensive.

3k to shell out is a bit too much lol. There are a few dudes on kijiji selling them, but again in the 3k range. I've monitored their ads for months and they're still reluctant to drop the price. Lmao jerks!

A lot of the BMW rims are from BBS esp the ///M wheels I think. Do you sell your stock rims close to the MSRP? I don't think so... Most people would rather buy a nice after market rims.

For a stock/OEM rim the 313s are expensive, its does look nice but. Its not like if you buy HRE a lot of ppl will still sell it close the MSRP.

the worst thing is, after shelling out $3000 (and then you needa replace those used tires) and your car still looks stock!

Just because it's "stock" doesn't mean it should automatically be cheap and inexpensive - OEM wheels are amongst the strongest and highest quality wheels available - it's just that there aren't very many styles that look good lol so people go aftermarket, sacrificing a bit of quality to bump up the looks. OEM 313's however, DO look good, hence the price.

What is a "nice" set of aftermarket wheels? protip: gravity cast wheels, ie. 90% of all aftermarket ones out there are not "nice".. not going to name any of those brands to avoid flame wars. But let's say BBS? What do those sell for, even used? Easily 3k+ including rubber for a relatively new set. I'll reference this recent FS thread as an example:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=845603

That's literally about the MSRP for OEM wheels, for a good set of aftermarket ones. Again, the price reflects both the quality and desirability (market).

Don't get me wrong, 313 is sex ! but after $3000 out of the pocket, I would expect 3000 dollar nicer ! Most stock wheels aren't quite 3000 dollar nicer ( I did the wife test and girlfriends test, none of them can tell the different between stock wheels. But they can easily pinpoint the BBS LM's on the other guy's car) LOL.

Actually, almost 1/3 of the wheels from BMW stock cars are made by BBS. There's only a handful of OE wheel makers. Same as Borbert and Enkei.

What's the problem with a stock sleek sexy look? Nothing uglier than aftermarket rims on a prestigious looking ride!
