My CA went to Newark and got one of those big ass cop shield badges that you stick to your front windshield with three big suction cups....She said it helps and got her off some no front plate tickets.

I know the shields that are put in the windshield helps a lot. Mine got me off from several tickets before it was stolen... bastards. I don't know about the license plate though but I guess it can't hurt.
