Exhaust pipe size?

I have a 2008 328xi and was looking to do a muffler delete. I'm wondering what size the factory piping is so I can figure out what inlet I need for my tips. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah 2.5 in some places... That post res pipe is crushed in several places but if you find a round spot it is 2 1/2 inches
List of Mods: 1/4 tank of gas (for weight reduction), cut hole out behind gas pedal for more throttle.
