Drip moulding DIY or help ???

Anyone know how to remove the moulding in the diagram at http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...40&hg=51&fg=20
The moulding is number 7. It's painted plastic and its not sitting flush at the top so I bought new clips today but I don't want to break the plastic trying to remove it. Any help would be great!

Question

Can you share how to take it off without breaking anything? Is it then hard to put it back on again with the new clips? How many clips are there for the whole side?

I have exactly the same problem as described and looking for the solution.

Just start at the bottom and work your way up. I think there were four or five clips. Once you have it off and u swap any broken clips you just pop it back on. It's really easy.

I've already tried pulling but starting from the top. It appears that the clips are ok, but the grooves in the drip moulding were slightly worn and not really catching against the clip.

So I've just pressed harder until the clip caught an unworn groove :-)
