FS: Oil cooler + fittings, adapters, hose, bracket. SoCal

Used condition.

Oil cooler w/ -6AN ports 42506AERL
'-6AN fitting, 90deg, for push-on hose 709167ERL
3/8" super stock hose (compatible w/ -6AN fitting) 780006ERL
Mounting bracket 1825ERL
NPT (3/8" NPT i think) to -8AN adapter

$200. located in Torrance, CA


(fyi buy 585108ERL to change cooler to -8AN port http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ear-585108erl)

interested in this.. does this mount in place of stock 335i oil cooler?

No.
Stock 335i oil cooler does not use standard fittings/connection. Unless you have tools to modify the OEM oil lines you need new hardware connecting the heat exchanger to thermostat housing.
Also bracket included is a generic Earl's bracket. You'll want to bend up some 1/8" or 3/16" sheet metal to make a complete bracket.

This is not a complete kit. This does not come with the necessary oil filter hsg + thermostat housing.

Assuming you already have OEM oil cooler you will still need:
option 1: Adapter (thermostat delete) plate with AN fittings + misc. fittings and oil lines.

option 2: Thermostat hsg (drill & tapped for AN adapter) + misc. fittings and oil lines.


If you do not have OEM oil cooler then obviously you will need the right oil filter hsg and the same above options will apply.
