+1. I think this car looks great. I've been wondering what brushed Essen's would look like on a black e92...

it doesnt even look balance with that body shape
i think 20's are just as perfect for the coupe as 19's are... its just about personal preference and what your eyes like better, which in your case isn't 20's and actually in my case would be 20's

Im running KW v2 with a mild drop. Wanted to start off mild in case my wheels rub. They are brushed aluminum Essens, 20 inch. Really suprised at how good the ride is on 20s. Thought it would be worse. Thanks to Dan at Modcity for the hookup!

No problem Stuart. Its been a pleasure! Your car is one of the nicest e92 I have seen yet. Enjoy the wheels!!!

So do you have the 2pc iforged modular construction since its the chrome lip?
Yes 2pc. No welds on these wheels. No polishing the lip every week. Factory TPMS works perfect on them so no money spent there.

I think men look at wheels the same way they look at biceps. You have smaller wheels/biceps when you start out. You see some larger wheels/biceps and say, "I like that." You work hard to get larger wheels/biceps which then introduce you to a new crowd. This crowd has REALLY big wheels/biceps that most people consider too big, but now you consider them because your used to your already big wheels/biceps. Before you know it you're walking around with abnormally large wheels/biceps that you think look great but 90% of people think look rediculous. See where I'm going with this? I think the style of the wheels is cool. 19's would be better IMHO.

It has nothing to do with some macho complex and everything to do with proportions and aesthetics. Obviously this is subjective, but to many of us 20's fit the proportions car. I happen to think that if a wheel has a lip, it takes an inch off the look of the diameter. So a 20" rim with a lip seems perfect to my eyes.

Looks great man! Are you having any rubbing issues with your current settings?

Couldn't have said it better. The large lips make it look smaller. If I went with CSL or m6 reps than maybe 19s. I have seen many people with 19s in person and I knew I had to get 20s. Slight rubbing in the rear on large dips. Im running a 285 tire in the rear. Might have to get the fenders rolled.
